Igniting Faith | Transforming Nations | Winning Souls
Established in 2024 as an inter-campus ministry, Flames Of Faith Intervarsity Fellowships has grown into a dynamic life-transforming and generational impacting fellowship.
We focus on raising Christians that are distinguished as sons of God, separated for the demonstration of the God-life to the world, and communing His divine presence.
Grace and peace to you, family of Flames of Faith International.
Have you ever stood in front of a barren field, clutching a small bag of seeds, and felt the weight of the "wait"? In the natural world, we are taught to be patient: first the soil, then the seed, then the long wait, and—if we’re lucky—the fruit.
But I want to share a secret about the Kingdom of God that changes everything. In the realm of the Spirit, God flips the script. The fruit actually supersedes the seed.
Imagine a young entrepreneur who receives her first paycheck. The world says, "Reinvest it all so you can grow." But the Spirit whispers, "Give the first to Me." This isn't just about money; it’s about spiritual sequence. When we give our First Fruit, we are saying that the harvest is already a reality. Proverbs 3:9-10 tells us to "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops." Notice the result: "then your barns will be filled to overflowing."
By sacrificing the first fruit before the heavy sowing begins, you aren't losing; you are sanctifying. As Romans 11:16 explains, "If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy." You are essentially telling your future harvest that it belongs to God.
Think of a builder. Before the first brick is laid, he spends weeks over a blueprint. He "sees" the finished mansion while the lot is still nothing but dirt and weeds. This is exactly how we must handle our investments and life goals. We must sow in the spirit before we invest in the natural.
We see this in the life of Isaac. During a devastating famine, when everyone else was hoarding, Isaac sowed in that land (Genesis 26:12). Why? Because he had already "seen" the harvest in his spirit through God’s promise.
When you pray, decree, and fast over your vision, you are planting seeds in a soil that never fails. Galatians 6:8 reminds us that "whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." That "life" is the divine success that flows into your physical work.
It sounds backwards, doesn't it? But faith is the ability to see the fruit so clearly that the seed becomes easy to give. Faith Starts at the Finish Line: We don't sow to get a result; we sow because we have a promise. Calling the Future: We serve a God who "calls those things which be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17).
If you are waiting to see the money before you act in faith, you are following the world’s logic. But if you see the "fruit"—the healed family, the debt-free business, the growing ministry—you will sow your seed with joy, knowing the seed is just the legal tender that activates what is already yours in heaven.
As you walk through this month, I want you to stop staring at the "smallness" of your seed. Instead, fix your eyes on the "greatness" of the fruit God has shown you. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for. That substance is your fruit. Today, sow your prayers and your first fruits not out of fear, but as a celebration of a harvest that is already established.
